Terms of Service

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms are written in plain English. They are the contract between AIME TECH UK LIMITED and the business that subscribes to DigitAIse. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, and where we process other people's personal data for you, our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) applies and forms part of these terms.

1. Who we are

DigitAIse is operated by AIME TECH UK LIMITED ("DigitAIse", "we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16819323; registered office 42 Beaufort Court, Admirals Way, London E14 9XL; VAT number GB519967241; registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, registration number ZC169006). Contact: hello@digitaise.co.uk. By creating an account or using the Service, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these terms on behalf of your business and confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Business customers only

The Service is for businesses, including sole traders, using it for their trade, business or profession. It is not offered to consumers, and at launch it is for businesses established in the United Kingdom (including the Isle of Man), billed to a UK address. By signing up you confirm you are acting for business purposes, so rights that the law gives only to consumers (such as the 14-day cancellation period for online purchases) do not apply. You can still cancel at any time as set out in section 8.

3. Definitions

  • Service — the DigitAIse platform and Nova, its AI assistant, together with its features (Email, Bookings, Opportunities, Reviews, Social posts, Team training, Compliance, Website chat, Phone, Webdesigner, Get Paid).
  • Users — the people you invite to your account. You are responsible for their use.
  • Customer Data — everything you upload, connect or generate in the Service, including documents, emails, calendar events, reviews and chat/voice content.
  • End-Customer Data — personal data of other people (for example your customers, website visitors, suppliers, staff and contacts) contained in Customer Data. For this data you are the controller and we are your processor — see the DPA.
  • Output — content that Nova or the Service generates for you.

4. The Service and how Nova acts

DigitAIse runs Nova, your AI assistant, on your behalf against the data sources you authorise, across the features you turn on. Nova drafts emails, replies, posts and review responses and puts them in To approve; they are only sent or published after a person on your account approves them (or, if you choose draft only, you send them yourself). Some features act automatically once you turn them on, because that is what they are for: Website chat (and the Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp messages you connect to it) and WhatsApp booking chats answer people straight away from the documents you make available to them, booking confirmations are emailed when a booking is made, and Phone answers calls. You choose whether to turn these on and what Nova may draw on. Messages Nova writes are marked as AI-generated. You remain the owner of all Customer Data.

5. Accounts & eligibility

  • You must be 18 or over and use the Service for business purposes.
  • Keep your account details accurate and your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for your Users' compliance with these terms.
  • Connecting outbound credentials requires two-factor authentication.

6. Free trial

  • New subscribers to the Starter and Business plans get a 14-day free trial, once per business; Operations has no free trial. Card details are collected at sign-up by our payment processor, Stripe. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and the first fee is charged when the trial ends. If there is no valid payment method at that point, the subscription ends.
  • AI usage during the free trial is included up to £3 of AI work; usage above £3 during the trial is invoiced when the trial ends — on your first bill or, if you cancel during the trial, on a one-off invoice charged to your card. Setup usage is not charged.
  • Add-ons are not part of the free trial. They are charged from the day you add them, including during a trial.

7. Fees, VAT & payment

  • Plans are billed monthly in advance or, if you choose annual billing, yearly in advance. Add-ons (Website chat, Phone, Webdesigner, Get Paid) and AI usage are always billed monthly, from the day you add them, at the price shown when you add them. Domains bought through us are charged as set out in section 11.
  • AI usage is billed monthly in arrears at our usage prices, shown in the app under Usage. This includes text messages (SMS) and WhatsApp messages we send for you, charged per message at the price shown in the app. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI work, shown on the plan; usage draws on the allowance first.
  • Spending limit. Beyond the allowance, usage is limited in each billing period to a spending limit you control, with a default for each plan shown in the app. We tell you at 80%; at 100% work that costs money stops until you raise the limit or the next period starts, including booking reminders and payment chases. Items already approved that need no further paid usage still go out.
  • Raising the limit is prepaid. When you raise your limit, the increase is charged to your card straight away (VAT included) and applied against your usage invoice, so it is not charged twice. You cannot lower the limit below what you have already used in the period. Prepaid amounts (limit raises and automatic top-ups) carry over from month to month and do not expire while you are subscribed; the monthly allowance included in your plan does expire at the end of each billing period.
  • Automatic top-up is off unless you switch it on. When it is on, each time the limit is reached we charge the top-up amount shown in the app to your card, add the same amount to your limit and email you. There is no monthly limit on how many top-ups can happen, so leave it off if you do not want that.
  • Usage alarm. If your spending in an hour is far above your normal rate we may pause work that costs money, tell you, and let you resume it with one click.
  • Prices on our website may be shown excluding VAT; what we charge always includes VAT at the applicable rate (currently 20%), and the app shows prices including VAT. AIME TECH UK LIMITED VAT number: GB519967241. Your invoices, showing VAT, are available in the app.
  • Payments are taken automatically from the card you give us. If a payment fails and is still unpaid 14 days after we ask you to pay, we may suspend the Service until it is paid.
  • We may change prices, including usage prices, with 30 days' notice by email or in the app. Changes apply from your next billing period after the notice ends; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
  • We do not store your card number — payment card data is handled by Stripe.

8. Changing plans, cancelling & closing your account

  • Upgrades take effect straight away and are prorated: the difference for the rest of the current billing period is added to your next invoice. Moving from monthly to annual billing also takes effect straight away, with credit for the unused monthly time.
  • Downgrades to a smaller plan, removing an add-on after its first 30 days, and moving from annual to monthly billing take effect at the end of the current billing period (for annual plans, at renewal). Until then nothing changes and you can undo it in the app. When it takes effect, features no longer included stop working, their history stays read-only, and connected accounts we no longer use are disconnected; if you have more team members than the new plan includes, you need to remove some first.
  • 30-day add-on money-back. If you remove an add-on within 30 days of first paying for it, it ends immediately and we refund what you paid for it in full. After 30 days, removal takes effect at the end of the period and is not refunded. If you upgrade to a plan that includes an add-on you pay for, the add-on comes off your bill and the unused part is credited.
  • You can cancel at any time in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period (or the end of the trial) and then stops; you will not be charged again, apart from AI usage already incurred. Fees already paid are not refunded, except as set out above for add-ons. You can undo the cancellation until it takes effect.
  • The account owner can close (or delete) the account at any time. Payment is for the period you have paid for, so closing is not refunded: everything keeps working until the end of the current billing period (for annual plans, the end of the year; during a free trial, the end of the trial), and then the account closes and everyone is signed out. You can undo it in the app until then. When the account closes, anything left unused from prepaid top-ups is refunded to your card; removing an add-on within its first 30 days is still refunded as set out above. We keep your data for 30 days after the account closes so you can reactivate, then permanently delete it (see the Privacy Policy and DPA). Export anything you need first.

9. AI outputs — your responsibility

  • Nova assists you; it does not replace your judgment. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any output before it is sent, published, paid or relied upon, and, for features you set to answer automatically, for the documents and settings you give Nova to answer from.
  • AI-generated content is disclosed/marked in line with transparency requirements (incl. EU AI Act Art. 50).
  • As between you and us, you own the Output generated for you. Similar output may be generated for other customers.
  • The Service is not legal, financial, tax, medical or other professional advice.

10. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service to break the law, send spam or marketing messages without the consent the law requires, harass anyone, or infringe others' rights.
  • Do not use Nova to make decisions about people that have legal or similarly significant effects on them without a person reviewing them.
  • You warrant that you have a lawful basis to upload and process any third-party personal data you provide (see the DPA).
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or overload the Service, get around its security or usage limits, or upload malicious files. If an agent you configure behaves abusively we may pause it and contact you.
  • If you use Webdesigner, your website must not be used for phishing or to collect passwords or payment details under false pretences; host, spread or link to malware; impersonate another person, business or brand, or suggest a connection with them that you do not have; publish unlawful content; infringe copyright, trade marks or other intellectual property; mislead buyers (for example with fake reviews, prices or offers you do not honour, or goods or services you cannot supply); or act as a landing page for spam or unsolicited messages.

11. Website hosting (Webdesigner)

  • Webdesigner is an add-on. We host your business website on your own domain. While you work on it, you see previews on a technical address of ours; previews are private to you and the people you share a preview link with, and are not your published site.
  • The design agent drafts changes to your site when you ask for them in chat. Nothing goes live on your domain until a person on your account presses Publish.
  • You are the publisher of your website. You are responsible for everything on it, including text, images, prices, offers and claims, whether you wrote them or the design agent drafted them; for having the rights to use that material; for the legal pages your site needs, such as its privacy notice (the pages we generate are a starting point you must check); and for the integrations you switch on (website chat, booking requests and the contact form). These integrations stay off until you switch them on. Visitor data they collect is End-Customer Data: you are the controller and we process it for you under the DPA.
  • We host and serve your site. We may suspend it, or remove specific content, if it breaks section 10, after a well-founded report under section 12, or where the law requires it (see section 19).
  • Domains you buy through us are registered in your business's name through Cloudflare Registrar and belong to you. We charge you what the registrar charges us, including VAT, on a one-off invoice when you buy the domain, and the same each year when it renews. On request we will give you the transfer code and help you move the domain to another registrar. Domains you bring yourself stay yours and under your control; you point them at us with the DNS records we show you.
  • If the Webdesigner add-on ends — because you cancel it or your subscription ends — or the Service is suspended for non-payment (section 7), there is a 14-day grace period: your site stays online and the editor becomes read-only. After that your site shows an "offline" page (returning HTTP status 410 to browsers and search engines) and we detach any domains you brought yourself. "Download my site" keeps working throughout, during the grace period and afterwards, so you can take your site files elsewhere. Domains you bought through us stay yours: we turn off auto-renew and send you instructions for transferring them out; a domain you do not transfer or renew lapses at the end of its paid period. If you plan to close your account, download your site first.

12. Reporting a website (notice and takedown)

Anyone can report a website we host that they believe is unlawful or breaks section 10, by emailing abuse@digitaise.co.uk or using the form or API at https://api.digitaise.co.uk/public/abuse. Reports should include the web address and explain what is wrong. We log every report and act on it promptly: we review it and, where it is well founded, may remove the content or take the site offline. Where the law allows, we tell the customer about the report and what we have done, and give them a chance to respond; if the content is clearly unlawful or harmful, we may act first. If you think action we took against your site was mistaken, contact hello@digitaise.co.uk and we will review it.

13. Data protection & confidentiality

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Where the Service processes End-Customer Data on your behalf, the DPA is incorporated into these terms by reference and applies. Each of us will keep the other's confidential information confidential and use it only for this agreement. We do not sell your data or use Customer Data to train AI models.

14. Third-party services

The Service relies on sub-processors to function — including Anthropic (AI models), Stripe (payments), Brevo (email), Twilio (text messages and telephony), Zernio (social account connections & posting), Cloudflare (edge network, website hosting and domain registration), OVHcloud (hosting) and Google Cloud (backups). The current list and their roles are in the Privacy Policy and DPA. Services you connect, such as Google, Microsoft, Xero or your social accounts, are provided by those companies under their own terms; we are not responsible for them or for changes they make to their services.

15. Intellectual property

We own the Service and all associated IP. You own your Customer Data. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process it to provide, secure and support the Service, including serving your published website to the public. We may use aggregated usage statistics that do not identify you or include your content to run and improve the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the Service.

16. Availability

We aim for high availability but offer no formal SLA during early access. Maintenance will be announced in-app where possible.

17. Warranties

We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that and what these terms expressly say, the Service is provided "as is": to the extent the law allows, all other warranties, conditions and terms implied by statute or common law are excluded, and we do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free or that Output will be accurate.

18. Liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
  • Neither of us is liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
  • Subject to the above, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service, these terms and the DPA, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is capped at the greater of £100 and the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
  • We keep regular backups, but you should keep your own copies of important data. If Customer Data is lost or damaged through our fault, our responsibility is to restore it from our most recent backup.

19. Suspension & termination

  • You may cancel or close your account at any time (section 8).
  • We may suspend all or part of the Service straight away where reasonably necessary to deal with a security risk, unlawful or abusive use, or unpaid fees (section 7). We will tell you why and restore it once the issue is resolved.
  • We may end your subscription if you materially breach these terms and do not put it right within 14 days of our notice (or straight away if it cannot be put right), or if your business becomes insolvent. We may also stop providing the Service by giving you at least 30 days' notice and refunding any fees paid for the period after it ends.
  • When the subscription ends, your data is handled as described for closure in section 8: you can export it, and on your instruction we will export or delete it within 30 days. Sections that by their nature should continue (including 9, 11, 13, 15, 18 and 22) survive.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its date and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect (or sooner where the law, security or a new feature requires it), and we may ask you to accept the new version in the app. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

21. General

These terms, the DPA and the plan details shown when you subscribe are the whole agreement between us. We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over the Service, and will tell you if we do. Nobody else has rights under it (Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999). Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. If a part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies, and not enforcing a right straight away does not waive it. We send notices to the account owner's email address; send yours to hello@digitaise.co.uk.

22. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
